Installing qBittorrent in Debian, Ubuntu and Linux Mint


qBittorrent is now officially available in repositories. So, you can install latest stable qBittorrent in Debian 7/6, Ubuntu 14.04,13.10/13.04/12.10 and Linux Mint 16,15/14/13 by adding following PPA to the system.

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:hydr0g3n/qbittorrent-stable
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install qbittorrent

Unfortunately, there are no latest qBittorrent 3.1.9.2 packages for Ubuntu 12.04 and Linux Mint 12.

Installing qBittorrent in Fedora


qBittorrent is officially packaged on Fedora distribution. To install qBittorrent in Fedora 20,19/18/17, use the following command.

# yum install qbittorrent
